“Do I get to select the reference image for the illustration?”  Yes, as long as I have created the photo reference for you.  I reserve the right to narrow your image collection to the top 5 images that I feel would work best for an illustration first, and to discuss with you the pros and cons of selecting certain images, but ultimately the decision is yours.

“Can I provide my own photo for an illustration?” Unfortunately, no.  I require a photo session for all illustrative work. Part of my artistic process is my reference creation.  As an illustrator, I believe in holding as much control over my entire performance as possible, from reference creation to final product.

“I’d like to commission a different type of custom illustration product from you. Do you accept commissions?” I accept commissions on a case-by-case basis.  Contact me with your idea and I'll see if I can meet your needs. All commissions require photo sessions as appropriate.
